Tracy and Tessa passed hours waiting at the hospital. Finally the doctor showed up. Both of them went next to him. They were begging to him with their eyes to tell them some good news...
He said "Are you his wife?"
Without waiting for the reply of her mother, Tessa said "how is my father? Will he live?" She was crying. She didn't want to lose his father at the very first day she found him.

Follow up:

The doctor smiled to Tessa. "Don't worry my dear, we did our best. I am sure that he will also, for to see your beautiful eyes again. Will you let me to speak to your mother for a minute?"
They left Tessa in the waiting room and the doctor started walking with Tracy on the corridor. He took her to the courtyard. "Marc had very severe injuries. I guess that he hit his head very strongly which provoked many fractures. I thing we did our best but time will tell us the rest. His right leg is broken in three different parts but that is less important. He will be ok in that sense within the time but nothing is sure for his general situation. Tonight is risky. Let's hope that he can make it through the night without any complications"

"I am afraid not. We are making him sleep. Tomorrow we will know much more. Now try to get some rest madam"
