I'll go to Seattle. But that will not be on holiday, that's just working abroad, and escaping Arizona's melting temperature ;
I had no specific travel plans for this summer. Normally it would be my last summer of hard work. After that I would decide if I would go back to school or not.
This weekend I'll have my next couchsurfers over. It's a couple from 'Den Haag', Holland. And she likes to cook. I'm looking forward already to a nice culinary weekend.

I'm afraid that the other bands you name of the Seattle music scene are not familiar to me. Even after a quick session on lastfm, I'm still not convinced that I would like them
I discovered some beauty recently. A friend of mine in Belgium brought me 'Milow' to my attention. He is a Belgium singer/songwriter and just brought out his second album. I do like it a lot and both the complete album already on itunes. I can often admire singer/songwriters.
