I've been to Vegas yes. Some hotels have a good deal.
They give the flight for free if you go to a venue. They hope offcourse that you gamble away, and that they got eventually there money back.

Follow up:

The most famous chefs of the States have there restaurant there! So yes, I can recommend you some restaurants
But I must confess, that my favourite restaurant in Vegas is Denny's. At least for breakfast, I love it ; Sometimes this foodie is not a 'real' one
